Also known as "Opening (introduction)" and it is one of my most important tracks of this album and has a wonderful story behind it which grants it such a long (but sorta optional) name. Here's how it goes:
This was the first song I produced that I ever publicly released for showing on the internet. It was supposed to capture the feel of a game's opening credits. I will capture that feel in the lyrics, of what the supposed title screen to a fictional game I had planned a soundtrack for called "The Legend of Harper". This was all a long time ago to my perspective of time: 2010. Seems like 2008 or 9 just from how time passes.
Anyways AND basically it was criticized greatly because of the preconceived thought of what many people who make tunes in famitracker expect. Almost every song I've seen made in the program has been something as discribed my listeners as "sounds like megaman music". It might not be great when compared to those other tunes with higher tempos. But as a tune that tells a story, it has to be a favorite of mine, and hopefully you'll understand too.
lyrics
There once was a land known as Hukathosis.
It was a peaceful land until King Hartford passed a new tax law
Which everyone thought was just except one struggling weapon merchant, named sir Yatinlow
He was so pissed about the now law he broke into his castle and attempted to stab him in his sleep.
Before he could thrust the final blow guards apprehended him.
He was taken to the gallows but before Sir Yatinlow was hanged
a mage threw a bottle of evil stuff at him and he turned into a demon
controlling the land people who would not submit would go underground.
This is the story of an orphan who tries to save a friend in these dangers.
